KILLERS OF A CERTAIN AGE is Fabulous, Fabulous, Fabulous!
I’ll edit tomorrow with more details, because it’s been a very busy day, but Deanna Raybourn is always brilliant, and this, her first foray into contemporary fiction, maintains that streak.
However since it’s about older women besting mediocre men who underestimate them (because don’t they always??!!!), it gets a bit more shine, because how often do we get books like that?
Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!
Thanks Raybourn. You never cease to amaze me with your fantastic characters, terrific (and creative) storytelling, and rollicking plots, but even so, this one is elevated. You’re a queen, but I can’t box you into genre or era or anything. Because no matter what you write, it’s terrific.
But writing about women assassins preparing to retire? Unexpected and perfect.
(Did I mention Deanna Raybourn is brilliant?)
Don’t miss this one.
